Every pair of lavunett is designed in France and built the slow way — in premium acetate, cut, polished and assembled by hand, a pair at a time.

Everything begins at our studio. Every lavunett frame is designed in-house, from the first sketch to the finished shape.
only the best materials
Custom cellulose acetate sourced from Italy and ultra-light titanium. Coloured pigments are blended by hand, cut into chips and pressed into solid blocks that rest for 24 hours before they become a frame.
cut, buffed & assembled by hand
A CNC machine cuts the face fronts from raw acetate; each frame is then hand-buffed on a polishing wheel to a glass-smooth shine, assembled and adjusted piece by piece.
lenses made for you
Lenses are precision-cut to shape and treated with anti-reflective and scratch-resistant coatings. Our sunglasses block 100% of UVA and UVB rays; our blue-light lenses filter screen glare.
checked, aligned & boxed
Each pair is individually inspected and bench-aligned, then packed in its case with a pouch and cloth — ready to wear.
